Twin Spirit…Wednesday 9th July
We’re off again to explore the NSW Coast in the Good Ship Twin Spirit. Our lovely home for the next month is a Perry 43 Catamaran an extremely stable drinking platform, as I fear a little bit of eatn, a little bit of laugh’n, and a lottle bit of drink’n, and there may even be some dancing, will be the order of the day.
Now let me introduce our crew:
Our Trusty Captain……Admiral Lovepants alias Doug
His loyal companion Luscious Lil……Lizzie
First Mate Captain Jack Sparrow…..alias Nick
Dogs Body………Curvy (Curvy Screw) Pam
Boarded the boat Wednesday late afternoon on one of the chilliest afternoons this winter which is par for the course when you want to go somewhere, so of course with the rain starting and wind coming up we decided to have a farewell dinner at the RMYC, as one would.
Sailed around the mooring before deciding that here we would stay for the evening and listen to Lovepants’ song he had written for the Journey which I will now relate to you.

Over and Out
Thursday 10th July
Woke to threatening skies and very strong wind gusts during the night………Nice to know you are still tied up at the mooring!
Listened to weather, and strong wind warnings for Pittwater and Gale Force for Coastal are predicted where we were intending to sail through. Consequently we high tailed it to Refuge Bay wrapped up in ski gear until the wind and seas abate which looks like Saturday at the earliest.
Radio on, and one lone caller radios Coastal Patrol for weather report. After Coastguard tells him the report, the sailor commented “that’s probably why there are no other boats around”……..except us, says it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like Little bit a eatn…a little bit of music and a lottle bit a drinking coming up!!!!!!!
OUT………….
Woops still getting to know the site again and the date was wrong ….my fault, also for those who know music the notes have downloaded in the wrong place.
OUT…(in the head me thinks) Curvy
